Pin Cushion Cakes! {Pin Cushion Blocks}
I’ve been doing a lot of sewing and I decided that I need a new pin cushion that could hold quite a few straight pins, safety pins, and needles …. The {PICTURE FRAME} pin cushion that I made awhile back, just wasn’t cutting it anymore. Inspiration came from {THIS} idea. I was able to get most of my supplies at the dollar store, except for the fabric and embellishments. I decorated the floral foam and glued it to the homemade mini cake stand. I think the pin cushion blocks look like mini pieces of cake!!

Wall Floral Décor For The Office
My {SOUTHERN LIVING WREATH} was really starting to look frumpy on my front door; I was extremely sad that I had to take it down. It was definitely one of my favorite creations; however, I wasn’t going to throw away all of the flowers and stuff. I originally planned on recycling the wreath into a metal basket from Hobby Lobby, with the anticipation of hanging on the front door. I was able to recycle all of the supplies (Even the grapevine wreath! I cut it up and used it as filler!} but I felt like it was too nice to hang onto the front door so I took it to our newly renovated offices. It looks fabulous in our foyer area! …. But my front door is STILL bare!

Photo Wall Art
I was asked to make this custom picture frame for a friend’s sister. I painted a piece of pre cut wood that was 24” x 24” and then adhered the vinyl. I screwed the 5” x 7” picture frame to the piece of wood; however, I did cut a hole into the piece of wood so the picture can be changed out.
I am totally love the size of this and I love how it can be personalized. I have a few ideas in mind … Maybe a few with a Fightin’ Texas Aggie theme!

Sidewalk Chalk Birthday Invitation
I was super stoked when my friend asked me to help her with her daughter’s birthday invitation. We decided on drawing a scene with chalk and then taking a picture with her daughter; I added words with Photoshop. I wish the scene could have been better … But drawing isn’t my one of my strong abilities. However, it turned out super stinkin’ cute. We uploaded the picture to Walgreens and for only a few bucks- birthday invitations are done! {What you don’t see in the picture … is my friend and I getting frustrated because Gabrielle was crying due to the sun being soooo BRIGHT! Oh the drama from a five year old!! LOL … thus the sunglasses. However, it was pretty darn hot outside and she toughed it out like a champ.}

Peanut Butter Cupcakes
I really enjoy making cupcakes! Why?! I have no idea! It seems that everyone loves a Reese’s Peanut Buttercup- what wouldn’t be better than biting into a chocolate cupcake with a Reese’s?! I added one mini Reese’s to each cupcake and then I modified Wilton’s buttercream icing recipe. I did not add as much butter; I substituted the butter with peanut butter and kept adding powdered sugar until the consistency was right.
