10 Days Of Scrapbooking: Day 8

This another wedding page . . .  always a bridesmaid never a bride.  Ha!  (King and I are working on the wedding thing.)  Anyway, my other BFF had a really amazing destination wedding in Guthrie ,Oklahoma.  She used the peacock feather as her color pallet and had a lot of peacock feather accents.  The wedding was real southern vintage with a twist of a little contemporary with a little bluegrass music mixed in.  Mr. S is a great mandolin player and Mrs. S is a super fabulous singer.  They sang their first duet together at their wedding instead of having a first dance. How snazzy is that!  I grabbed all of the peacock feathers out of most of the table arrangements because I knew I would want some of them for this page (Don't worry, I waited until clean up time.).  Kinda looking for something really snazzy to do with the other 100 feathers.
Here's the actual pic of us below.  Isn't her birdcage veil FABULOUS! Oh how I love birdcage veils.  I also made headpieces for the bridesmaids that included black & peacock feathers. I also made the wraps.  Those two touches that Mrs. S wanted, really added some extra pizazz to the the bridesmaids.  Actually she had a ton of extra touches that really made the wedding super fabulous.  I could go on and on about her wedding.

PS - I snitched some of the peacock feathers too...it was really fun getting them on an airplane.

The page looks great. I wish I was that creative.
