Mrs. Rooster is the best friend ever! She always lets me help with her daughters’ parties. This year a bumble bee theme was chosen for her youngest. We had so much fun creating all of the black and yellow decorations. Mrs. Rooster even made a bumble bee outfit. We were the talk of the town at Peter Piper Pizza!
You can see how we made the cake {HERE}.
See the ruffled crepe paper? I ran that right
through the ruffler root on my sewing machine!
Mrs. Rooster made the entire outfit! {I “BEE” 3} was ironed onto a black shirt. Aren’t the antennas totally cute?! They moved every time she took a step. I know you can’t tell in the picture, but spray glitter was added to the tulle, to make it all shiny and sparkly!
Notice how the banner isn’t hung on a wall . . . Concrete was mixed into soup cans and while the concrete was still wet, I placed nice sized dowel rods into the wet concrete. The soup cans were wrapped in black paper.
