Everyday Wreath- Hello Southern Living!

I finally had a chance to make an everyday wreath for my front door.  I know most people probably think of this as a “fall” wreath but King and I like dark traditional colors when it comes to decorating our house.   I am not sure if I want to make a wreath for every single season- I don’t think I have that much space to store a million wreaths.  The pheasant feathers really fit our personality; I think of them as fun and funky, and King probably thinks of hunting them.  This is one of the best wreaths that I have ever done.  I am pretty sure that Southern Living would want to come to my house and photograph it .  . . just saying.   Or Sonya over at Beyond the Screen Door would want to come take it off my door.

This half moon window really bothers me.
I need some vinyl on my door too! I am eventually
going to order some from Shannon over
at Swainston Vinyl and DesignShe has already completed
one order for me- Oh how I can’t wait to show it off!

  11. What a cool wreath! I love the shape of it, the asymmetry of your design, and the cool spiky pheasant feathers. Very edgy.

  13. That's pretty - birds are always in season! I like the fall-like colors in my home, too. Not a fan of pink and turquoise furniture and walls...I have that same little window. I just keep it clean. I like that it lets sunlight in. Adding a brass kickplate at the base might be an option to add jewelry to your door...
