Before I get to my craftin' idea . . . Be sure to go to Coffee Cups & Crafts!! There is a special going on over there.
I saw this idea “somewhere” years ago or I think my Mom was telling me about it but the idea never was saved because I wasn’t blogging at the time. This is so stinkin’ easy and looks really fabulous! If you bring this idea to your Easter dinner table- your family will think you are awesome!

I found some funky straws at Target, (I think.) and stuck it
right through the middle of the peep! Takes about 5 minutes!
Very cute! And so easy! This is about the ONLY way I can tolerate peeps. Cute to look at...not so cute to eat! LOL!
ReplyDeleteBeen catching up...you are just so talented! Your Spring artwork is adorable.
HA! I love it. Confession...can't stand peeps...to eat that is. But I love all the colors they come in and now I have an excuse to buy them!
ReplyDeleteI want those straws!!! The peeps are nice to look at but being from a hugely diabetic family we tend to stray away from candy (my husband I managed to not end up with diabetes but we still watch our sugar intake closely!) I love the colors. I bet kids of all ages would gladly slurp down their drink to get their sweet treat at the end!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! About the only reason I could ever use to buy peeps. They are so nasty to eat!
ReplyDeleteYou're serving IMPALED bunny peeps?! Who's coming to your Easter dinner, Stephen King?
ReplyDeleteI was hoping you'd get the tongue in cheekiness and not just think I was some whack-job... well, at least not from that comment anyway.
ReplyDeleteThis is a cute idea! Thanks for sharing! :-)
ReplyDeleteYum! Saw this at Paisley Passions and I am bookmarking it for sure!

HOW CUTE!! So funny to see how many people dis like eating peeps, but they are such a big part of Easter basket tradition. I guess we know what to do with them now. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteADORABLE. What is it about Peeps - you either love or don't love. I love them {their simple shapes and pretty colors} but don't eat them - not a marshmallow fan. But, these cute straws put a smile on my face today. Thanks so much for sharing!
