Western Couch Pillows
I live in Texas- where everything is bigger! Including home décor items! I finally got around to sewing up some new pillows for my couch. I decided on pillows that are 24” x 24” with simple cording; three large pillows making a statement in the living room. I am totally diggin' on these.

Halloween Cans
Reusing food cans and decorating them with scrapbooking paper is the easiest craft ever! So simple, so quick and so cute! I whipped these up in about 45 mins. Add candy and tissue paper before you give it away. {HERE} are a few that I made for Valentine’s Day.

Brown, Blue and Crimson Baby Boy Bedding Set
Remember the {BABY BOY SHOWER} that I posted about- here is the crib bedding set for the same family. Her and husband did not want anything “baby” or juvenile looking. I think she picked out great fabrics and everything came together as planned. I love sewing up different color combinations and fabrics that aren’t always meant for their intended purposes; such as the corduroy crimson fabric that was used for this set. If you live in my area, {2dalou monogramming} does great work! Message me for her contact information.

Fightin’ Texas Aggie Skirts
If you have been reading my blog for awhile, you know that I am the Proudest Member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2006! Whoop! With that being said, I decided to make some Aggie skirts for football season. Even though the Aggies aren’t in the Big 12 anymore, there is still a little bit of rivalry between Aggies and Longhorns. Being the good Aggie friend that I am, I even made a Longhorn skirt for my coworker. Every Friday, is Aggie Friday in my office. I will definitely be wearing one this weekend, when the Aggies BTHO Auburn!
{{sorry for the bad picture quality, it was taken from my phone}}
Simple skirts are basically two squares sewed together with elastic at the top and hemmed at the bottom.

Brown and Blue Baby Shower
Mrs. Rooster and I hosted a baby boy shower for a good friend of ours. Our friend’s husband is a home builder and the father of two girls; therefore, he does not want anything girly or prissy for his new baby boy. Mrs. Rooster and I decided to keep it pretty simple with dark blue, light blue, dark brown and a deep crimson red. Be sure to stay posted for the crib bedding set that I made.
I’m not really a fan of diaper cakes, but I think mine turned out pretty well. ((Thanks to Cassie from {PAPER ISSUES} She always has the best diaper cakes.)

Name Letters
My friend has two girls and needed some help making some super cute letters for their rooms; of course, she called me! And of course, I said I would totally help her. We got together on a Friday night and whipped these up. Each name is very fitting for each girl. Can you tell which one is the DIVA?
This set is made from spray painted dollar store pictures frames with out glass. We where able to find scrapbooking paper, the wooden letters and embellishments for 50% off at Hobby Lobby.
These letters were made like the ones {HERE}. The only difference is that my friend already had the white letters. We used Modge Podge to adhere the glitter.

Oversized Halloween Tag
Over Labor Day weekend my Mom and I went to visit family in Ohio. All of us got together for “craft night”. Everyone made a few different items and my Mom made this giant over sized tag inspired by the ones that you have probably seen in the store. She used foam board from Hobby Lobby and decorated it with various paper crafting supplies & embellishments. I am going to a Christmas one to my “never ending crafting list.”
I was just messing around and made this little tag. A great little addition to my lamp!

Halloween Candy Corn Arrangement
Remember my {EASTER
PEEP ARRANGEMENT}? I love how the candy looks behind the glass. With a
little candy inspiration, I mixed the idea of the Easter peep arrangement with
my {ALFRED
HITCHOCK ARRANGEMENT}. This arrangement looks a million times better in
person.
