I purchased this little bench at a yard sale about three years ago. It was the perfect size to sit right in front of my couch. I don't have a coffee table due to the size of my living room, and I needed a place to set drinks and things like that. Even then, I knew I wanted to paint it turquoise. I had the perfect piece of scrap fabric that matched my living room. Finally, after the long wait and getting around to fixing it up, it is all finished. Perfect!

"Because of Who You Are" Signs
I made these two signs for a friend of mine that works in the same industry as me. The quote is actually from a song. My friend said that her and her daughter sing this song to each other; so I made one for her and one for her daughter. How sweet? Right? I think they tured out fabulous & I really like the quote.
Simple piece of wood from Home Depot. Purchase pre cut, add paint and then adhere your vinyl. I was thinking about adding a big piece of burlap ribbon for hanging, but I just couldn't decide. I didn't want it to take away from the words and I am unsure how that might look with my friend's home decor.

Texas A&M Bean Bag
Remember the {PATCHWORK BEAN BAG}? And how super cute it was?! I still think that it is one of the most fabulous items that I have ever made. A bean bag- such a good idea for a gift!! When I was working on the patchwork bean bag, I knew I would be making one for Mrs. P's son. I've already made Mrs. P's {AGGIE BABY BEDDING} and I wanted the bean bag for her son to match. His first birthday was just right around the corner; perfect timing for coming across this fabulous idea.

Dinosaur "Gold Fish" Jar
The guy that I am dating eats gold fish non stop. When I found this out, I knew I wanted to make him a special jar/container for his gold fish. The mouth of the jar needed to be large enough for his hand to be able to reach inside and it needed to be able to hold one large box of gold fish. I headed to my trusty craft store, Hobby Lobby. I purchased the jar while it was 50% off and used my coupon on the dinosaur. I attached the dinosaur with screws and then spray painted the entire lid.

DIY Rustic Table and Renovated Office
About a year ago our office was renovated and I was so excited about being able to choose paint colors and start from scratch. Yes, it has taken me a year to figure out exactly where I want everything and to purchase just the right items or make them. I feel like I need to live in the space for awhile before decorating everything completely. Especially when it comes to a work space, it has to be effective and efficient; cozy but still professional. We have customers that come in, so I didn't want it to be stiff like a doctors office, but I definitely wanted it to be warm and nice. A place where customers feel comfortable.
Oh, I must pat myself on the back and say that I made the rustic table with the stars!!! Yep!! Made it from scratch!! I received a new saw for Christmas and I made the table specifically for that wall. The printer/scanner is just so big and bulky; basically, it is an eyesore but it is something we can't live without. I definitely didn't want one of those cheesy carts that printers usually sit on. Problem solved: Make it yourself Haley!

Baseball Crib Bedding Set
This has got to be one of the cutest boy baby bedding sets that I've ever sewn up. We didn't get all crazy with the baseball theme but I felt like we added just enough to make it snazzy without it being too frilly and girly. Check out that banner on the crib!! Fabulous!! However, I didn't make that item, but I do think it's a great idea for a little boy's room.

Multi Colored Baby Bedding Set
I was asked to make a crib bedding set with about six to eight different fabrics. The “Mom to Be” wanted all the fabrics in the bedding set and didn't have a preferece on the fabric placement. I was a little apprehensive about this idea especially since everything wasn’t “matchy-matchy”; but it actually turned out quite fabulous! The crib skirt with all of the fabrics sewn together is beyond awesome and then the quilt ... Ummm- Can you say amazing!

Cabinet Door Turned Necklace Holder
I'm a Texas girl- I have big hair, I love big gaudy necklaces and all kinds of jewelry; therefore, I have quite a few necklaces. My old necklaces {HERE}, are overflowing and I am pretty sure the holder was about to fall over.
I had an old cabinet door that I took home from some place that I can't even remember. I knew I wanted to paint it turquoise and jazz it up with some knobs. I found the perfect knobs at Hobby Lobby; as wells, the crown piece.
I was super excited about how this piece turned out; however, I didn't even measure the space that it was supposed to go in ... Guess what? It was too BIG!! Uggghhhh!! I ended up selling it on Facebook for basically what I paid to make it. Oh well, now I have another reason to make something else fabulous!
