Fabric Bunting

I’ve never made a fabric bunting before so I was excited when a customer placed an order for one.  One side of the bunting was yellow and blue, with the other side was blue and brown.  The bunting was duel purpose; one side for the baby shower and the other side for the nursery.

I mixed and matched different patterned fabrics from Joann’s.  I added super thin interfacing to each triangle piece of fabric and then sewed the two pieces together.  The triangles where sewed to double fold bias tape that I made myself.  Not a super fast project but worth the time.  If you don’t know how to sew, you could use Wonder Under Fusible Web to adhere the two fabric pieces together and then possibly a little glue for the bias tape or more Wonder Under.

Puppies in the Park Crib Set

I have made another baby boy crib set and I was able to get some pictures of this fabulous nursery.  I love the theme of this nursery; “Puppies in the Park”  The soon to be parents are beagle lovers and wanted to incorporate the beagle into the design of the room- a job well done, just a few hints here and there without being too overwhelming.

The mom to be picked out fabrics from the Backyard Baby Collection by Patty Sloniger for Michael Miller.  I sewed up the complete bedding set, curtain, bobby cover, changing pad cover and additional pillows.

Here is an image of each fabric: {Source: MichaelMillerFabrics.com}

And finally some pictures of the nursery … Lovin’ this room!

Ironing Board Cover

Oh it’s the little things in life that make me happy!  … A new ironing board cover!  Yes, I iron a lot.  It’s an obsession that I have.  Go figure. I found this fabulous fabric at Hobby Lobby; another reason why it is my favorite store.

I didn’t use a pattern or a tutorial; but if you need one, check out {THIS LINK} from the blog Sew Much Good.
