Fall Porch

I usually don't get out my fall decorations this early. But King has been in & out of town, so more free time for craftin' & decoratin'.  This is only the third year that I have lived in my  "first" house and I really do not have that many fall decorations, except cheesy ones from college which are featured in my trash can.  Of course, you probably already saw the pumpkin topiary which was first on my list to make and the second on my list is a front door fall wreath.  All it took was a grape vine wreath, fall flowers and a mini sign.  I don't really do bows; I went with the mini sign.

Okay, is it just me, or does my door look stupid with a wreath.
The half moon window really messes me up.  Makes me mad sometimes.

Made a new rocking chair pad and changed out the flowers.
{I suck at growing real flowers.}

This urn sits on the far left side of our house next to the garage door.
I can't show you a picture of our whole house, cause the front porch
railing needs painting, however, the wood is getting rotten & needs replacing.
 . . . .  it's on that never ending "ToDo" list.

I think it all looks beautiful! I think it's a perfect time to decorate for fall, although, I haven't got it done yet. :) Thanks for sharing!

Super Cute! It makes me wish that I lived somewhere that people actually say my front door. I live waaaayyyy out in the country and back in the woods, so you only see my front door if I invite you here. :) I love your door, but if your unhappy with it, maybe try placing the wreath a little lower...

Thanks for sharing!

Carefully staged shots and the never ending to do list, I'm very familiar with the combination. However, your fall touches are great, and no, your wreath does not look weird with the half moon.

That wreath is gorgeous!!! I'd agree that your door isn't ideal for a wreath, but because wreaths are awesome, I think it looks great! :)

Thanks for linking up!

Omigosh I love how lovely and full the flowers are! Going with the mini sign was the right choice, I love it and it should hold up to outdoor weather better too. Speaking of being outdoor, you must be someplace you don't have to worry about the buckets of rain we got today. I'd love to put out artificial ones too, but I think they'd be pretty raggedy quick. I stink at growing too! Thank you for joining us at A Crafty Soiree! I hope you'll come back next week and link up again!
