Thank You Capris

Since Mrs. D gave me two sock monkey items, I wanted to sent her a thank you gift.  She has seen me in several pairs of lounging capris and always says that she needs to make herself some. Mrs. D will never get around to it; her "to-do" list is a mile longer than the rest of ours.  I whipped up two pairs for her.

I really wanted this to be a tutorial but I was at King's Dad's house sewing these up & totally forgot.  Here is a picture of the pattern that I used; the pattern number is B5204 by See & Sew (Butterick's cheap-o line.).  Sewing up cotton lounging pants with an elastic waste band is super easy for the beginner sewer.

Package up with a homemade card and your friend will think you are amazing!

Those are so cute! I'm a beginning sew-er, so maybe I'll give this a try. Thanks for the inspiration.

These are Adorable. I can't tell is the first pair yellow and black or green and black? And where did you get the fabric?
