Justin Bieber Stockings & More

Back when I was making the Justin Bieber {PILLOWS}, I purchased enough shirts to make a few Justin Bieber Christmas Stockings!  I cut up the shirt and added interfacing the back of the shirt to avoid the tshirt fabric from stretching while sewing.   I have two of them in my Etsy shop {HERE}.

Here are a few Christmas stockings that I made a few years back before I started blogging.  Who says Christmas stockings have to be made out of Christmas fabric?!

Burlap Christmas Stockings

If you remember, in the beginning I really wasn’t a fan of burlap … I thought it looked kinda hokey (and white trashy).  However, now that I have worked with it a few times, I have grown to love it.  I knew I wanted to try out some burlap stockings for this Christmas season.  I am lovin’ how they turned out; the leopard with the  burlap looks super snazzy.  Also, I am wanting to possibly add some freezer paper stenciling to them.  Maybe a big monogram?!  They need “something” just not sure what …

Some are listed in my Etsy Shop {HERE}

High School Reunion Vases

Last month I was asked to make about 10 table centerpieces for my high school reunion. Of course, I said yes!  Our colors were black and red & our mascot was the falcon.  I knew I wanted to use some of those big feathers in the arrangements.  I my mind, I wanted to use about 6-10 for each arrangement, but I just couldn’t get the arrangement to look “right” … So I went with just one feather per arrangement and staggered them at different heights.  (I almost had a craft “fail” ….)

Fall Table Runner and Decor

Back in the summer I spotted some super fabulous fabric at Joanns’s and I knew it would be perfect for a fall table runner.  Ever since, I have been anxious to put it on the table.  I am in love with this fabric! Over the past month, I have been so busy that I almost didn't even get a chance to put out my fall décor.  Every year I try to make at least one super nice home décor item … this year, it was the table runner.  Swoon ….

Halloween Baby Food Jars

I am a bloggin' bum!! I have been so busy that I haven't even had a chance to sit down and blog. This holiday season is definitely going to be a busy one.  This weekend and I am going to try to organize all of my pictures and get some blog posts going on.  I know Halloween has come and gone but here are some treat jars that I made.

I started with a few baby food jars (original label removed) and black licorice; however, you can use any type of jar and candy.  I simply glued a piece of black cardstock to the top of the jar and then I hot glued some eyelash trim around the edge of the lid.  Add a Halloween label and BAM! You are done! Seriously, it was that easy!!  Literally, this project only took me about 10 minutes.

I found my labels on the clearance last year, made by Martha Stewart.  However, you can still find something similar {HERE} at Joann’s or Michael's.  Even if you cannot find them on sale, they are still pretty cheap.

I think this is a great Halloween treat idea for your child's classroom or even your coworkers. You can mix up this idea for any holiday.
