Pink and Damask Crib Set

This is the CUTEST crib set I’ve ever made.  I am in love with all of the fabrics that the Mom picked out and let’s not forget the talent of this Mom! This little girl’s room is so fabulous!!  I made the whole crib set, curtains, pillows, bench seat cover and changing pad cover.

More Ruffled Aprons …. Finally!

Finally! I have been so busy sewing up orders and my job is taking up so much of my time that I haven’t even had a chance to craft or blog.  Here are some aprons that I whipped up for a customer. She liked my original green aprons {HERE}.  I really like making aprons; they’re quick, easy and make great gifts that can be customized for any personality.

Another Silhouette Project

In my last post I shared the {Silhouette Pallet Art} project that I made with Mrs. S while visiting in Oklahoma.  Mrs. S and I also complete this canvas art project.  Once again, we used the Silhouette to cut out stencils, so we could paint on the canvas.  Mrs. S is going to hang these two pieces above her bed; this scripture was part of her wedding vows.

Silhoutte Pallet Art With Mrs. S

Got a Silhoutte for my birthday!  Whoop!  I already had a Cricut, but I wanted to upgrade. My Mom is the best!!  I am a little bummed because I have been so busy that I haven’t had a chance to really use it.

When I was in Oklahoma to see Mrs. S, she wanted me to help her with a pallet art idea.  Her husband brought home a pallet from work, we ripped the wood apart, and Mr. S nailed it back together for us.   We used the Silhoutte to cut out words from cardstock to use as stencils.  We specifically bought “stencil” paint because we didn’t want any bleeding.  The stencil paint is amazing!!  I am so in love with this!! Such as good idea from Mrs. S!!

Velcro Window Treatments

A few weeks ago I went to visit my BFF, Mrs. S, in Oklahoma.  Recently Mrs. S purchased her first home and they have done an amazing job at a renovating and decorating.  Mrs. S made these curtains and I then I helped her revamp them a little bit.  Originally, they were too short and I added the brown fabric for her.

Can you believe that the curtains are attached with Velcro?! Mrs. S used sticky back Velcro that she added right to the front of the mini blind.  Brilliant idea!  Check out her DYI light!!

I am in love with this table and the feeling of this space is perfect. It’s warm and cozy; you could sit here for hours and talk with friends … Which is exactly what we did all weekend!  I made this table runner for Mrs. S while she worked on a different project. (Will be showing that tomorrow.)

More Mini Valentine’s Day Mailboxes

This is the last of my Valentine's Day projects ... Some friends of mine liked the first mini mailbox {HERE}, so much that they asked me to make a few for their kids.  I thought I was going to have a hard time making the ones for the boys, but actually they turned out better than what I thought.  I don’t think they are too “girly”.

Recycled Valentine’s

I recycled these glass food jars into Valentine’s treats.  The glass jars are filled with candy and then I added scrapbooking paper & embellishments to the outside.  Cheap & easy!  My kind of project!

Also, I like to recycle containers such as this cardboard like container that had hot cocoa in it.  Clean it out, add some paper, and then add wire for a handle.  Fill with tissue paper and candy.

Valentines Day Boxes

I found these little favor boxes on the clearance rack at Michael's a few years ago.  I didn’t know what I was going to do with them at the time but since they were red, I knew I could use them for Christmas or Valentine’s Day.  I was able use them for the women’s meeting at our church.

I added a little ribbon with a scallop cut from my Cricut.  The image of the quote is from Crafts and Sutch, {HERE}.  I scaled down the image and then used my circle punch to cut it out.
