Fabulous Rubber Boots

Spring is in full swing and so are the spring fashion accessories.  Have you seen the super cute rubber boots? And have you seen their PRICE TAGS- outrageous! Most them are a little more than what my budget wants to spend on a pair.  Apparently, my Mom thinks the same thing too because she has a regular old black pair that she wears out in the country.  She can blow through a pair of rubber boots in a year or the dogs grab them off the porch for their chewing pleasure.  Mom is genius (we all knew that) and used my easy flower technique {HERE} to add a little fabulousness to her boots.  How do you think they look? I am thinking that they look pretty snazzy!  Maybe some spray paint? I wonder how that would hold up . .  .

Those are adorable! I'm jealous of your spring weather. It's snowing here in Minnesota right now!

Haha, cute!! I haven't seen rubber boots popping up in places yet, but I'm sure I'll notice them now. This makes me laugh though...I use rubber boots when it's pouring rain and I'm trying to get something out of water or something...not just for fun shoes!! Cute idea though!!

What a cute idea! My mom was just talking about how she wanted a cheap pair that weren't ugly. I may have to do this for her!

Ooh - very cute! I wonder if you could use vinyl decals to add a design, like using a Silhouette cutter. I wear mine to walk the dog in the rain.

I agree with you Haley. I nearly gagged when I saw the price of Hunter boots.

That flower embellishment rules.

I'm rocking leopard rain boots ala TJ Maxx for $20.

Thanks for linking up to Creative Juice. Hope to see you back again this week!
