Mother’s Day Key Chains

Almost all of my BFF’s have children; so this Mother's Day I wanted to make all of them a small something.   I decided to make them photo key chains.  You can buy photo key chains at Hobby Lobby for only a few bucks.  I used the same technique as these {PERSONALIZED BRACELETS}.  Print your picture, place in the key chain and then add clear dimensional gloss on top.  Super easy and quick to make!  All of my friends have such cute kids!

{{I’m a slacker … I totally ran out of time and didn’t get these in the mail in enough time.  Let me be honest, they’re sitting here next to my laptop in my craft room.  It’s the thought that counts right?! LOL}}

I Mustache You

I MUSTACHE YOU A QUESTION AND SHAVE IT FOR LATER”
Ha! Ha! Okay, I know that was cheesy …

A good friend of mine is hosting a mustache baby shower for her sister.  She asked me to make up some mustache invitations.  I created the invite in Microsoft Word, printed them on cardstock and then adhered them to another piece of colored cardstock.  I think they turned out super stinkin’ cute!

Wire Cone

A few weekends back, I was cleaning up the garage and I came across some extra wire that I had left over from a previous project.  I love those vintage looking wire cones.  I decided to whip a mini wire cone (literally, it took like five minutes) and I added a real plant with some moss.  I would like to make a larger one to possibly hang on my front door but I would probably paint the wire and add some fake flowers and foliage ... Maybe even a tag or a bow made out of something unique.

No Sew Table Cloth

Remember the {PINK AND DAMASK CRIB SET}, the Mom of this order asked me to take a cheap three legged side table and turn it into something fabulous for her little girl’s nursery.   The pictures didn’t turn out great but you get the idea.

NO SEW TABLE

The table came with a top and three legs that you screw into the top.  I stapled the fabric to the underside of the table top.  Be sure to get your staples as close as you can to the edge.  The fabric was quite a bit longer than the table was tall.  I suggest leaving the fabric long and trim it up once the legs are screwed back in.  Once the stapling was done, I used spray adhesive to attach the fabric to the top of the table.  Hot glue and little bit of trim were used to finish the raw edge of the  fabric.

Pittsburgh Steelers Apron

I whipped up this apron on a Saturday night for a good friends Mom.  Even though I made it, I am a little jealous that I didn’t make myself a Fightin’ Texas Aggie apron.  I totally need to put that on my “to do” list.  {Sorry for the bad photo quality … I used my phone.}

Pink and Damask Crib Set

This is the CUTEST crib set I’ve ever made.  I am in love with all of the fabrics that the Mom picked out and let’s not forget the talent of this Mom! This little girl’s room is so fabulous!!  I made the whole crib set, curtains, pillows, bench seat cover and changing pad cover.

More Ruffled Aprons …. Finally!

Finally! I have been so busy sewing up orders and my job is taking up so much of my time that I haven’t even had a chance to craft or blog.  Here are some aprons that I whipped up for a customer. She liked my original green aprons {HERE}.  I really like making aprons; they’re quick, easy and make great gifts that can be customized for any personality.
