Valentine’s Day Cards

I am super excited about these Valentine’s Day cards!!  Especially since my Christmas cards were a little frumpy and I got to spend the weekend with my Mom who made some too.   When making cards I usually end up using stamps but this year I decided to be a cheater and use some vintage prints that I printed out on.  We used lace, tulle, and of course, the ever so popular, BURLAP!

The prints where MP’ed on a piece of cardboard to give some depth.  Then the lace, tulle, or burlap was glued onto the back of the cardboard with the whole thing being glued to the paper card.  I usually do not spend this much time on each card but my creative juices were really going on and I got off to an early start with Valentine’s Day projects.

My Cards …  {{I even made some with English bull terriers!}}

Mom’s Cards … I love my Mom’s style; she just starts gluing away and it ends up looking good.

I can’t decide which I like better, the Wild for You or the Paris.

It's awesome that you can do things with your mother. I would love to share a hobby with my mother. By the way I love the Paris card.
